Cool Websites
The above buttons are links to some of my favorite things located on the internet. Descriptions are found below:
Bible Gateway- This is a great site to read the Bible from different translations. You can also locate passages, keywords, and phrases.
360 Magazine: This is a magazine for the wheelchair community. It is very thought-provoking. I think EVERYONE should check it out for a greater perspective on disability issues.
Not dead Yet- This organization declares that all persons with disabilites- no matter how severe- are valuable human beings. I love this site. It is very validating. They are kinda radical which makes me like them even more.
Joni and Friends- This is a ministry that serves people with disabilities all over the world. Joni Erikson Tada, who has a severe disability herself, has been doing this for nearly 30 years. I love that Joni puts her faith into action.
Children International- An organization that encourage people to sponsor children. I sponsor a child named Fabio! He has cerebral palsy- just like me! ( I haad specifally asked for a child with a disability.)
Funds for Writers- This is a great site that offers resources for writers. I highly recommend it for anyone pursuing a writing career.
Flora William- Flora lost her dominate hand in an accident. And what has she done? She has recreated a different kind of life, full of meaning and purpose. You can order a book that tells this story from her website. You can even order her book of inspiring poetry!
RoboForm- This is a great application that will fill in forms for you. I love it because it saves so much time!
Blue Mountain- This is a site where you can send e-cards and make your own greeting cards.
Movie Review Query Engine- This is a great place to get multiple reviews on practically any movie!
The Other Side of Broken- This is an awesome site in which a father of a son with a disability interviews others with disabilities.
